I’ve always been a fan of anything Japanese. Everything that comes out of Japan gets me excited. I frequent this vape shop in hackensack because of their Japanese influenced design throughout their shop. www.statenislandlawncare.com landscapers do a Japanese garden design as well. Anything from Japan gets me excited!
My love for Japanese culture started when I was a child. I was thrown into a karate class at the age of 5. Everything about the class made me realize that the Japanese culture was special. It didn’t have the same elements of say the American culture, of which I was raised.
Everyday at the beginning of class we would bow to our instructor. The element of respect and discipline was something that intriguing to me. It was entirely opposite of what I experienced at the same age when I joined baseball. The other players would show up late, act very casual with the coaches and there was a feeling that everyone was on the same level and like a family where you could say and do anything you wanted. This was something you did not see in the Japanese culture.
The sensei would never consort with anyone ranked below him. There was a clear ranking system and show of honor and respect that I knew instinctively was a key to becoming good and anything you want in life.
